As of October 1st, the law has changed prohibiting the use of handheld mobile devices in school zones and construction zones. The state has given the citizens a grace period to recognize this law change. As of now, you can be pulled over and issued a warning through December 31st. As of January 1st, 2020, the penalty will be a fine and 3 points on your license."
