Missing Persons Day is recognized the first week of February and highlights missing people cases as well as law enforcement efforts to find these individuals. One of the most common calls Pasco Sheriff’s Office receives is locating missing people. We rely on a variety of resources and community support to bring missing people home safely, such as our Missing and Abducted Child Team and posting missing people to social media. It’s only by following PSO’s motto, “We Fight As One,” that safely recovering missing people is possible.

Pasco Sheriff’s Office is committed to protecting our citizens both on land and in water. With Florida experiencing a higher rate of water-related incidents than most states, it’s essential that we have the necessary resources to keep people safe. PSO deputies can join specialized teams that respond to emergencies unique to Florida, such as our Underwater Response Team and Maritime Operations Unit. They can also participate in trainings that enhance their abilities to respond to water-related incidents. These resources help solve crimes and protect citizens so they can enjoy all Florida has to offer. Learn more about PSO’s specialized units and trainings here!

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the opening of our new substation at Tampa Premium Outlets, A Simon Center, 2350 Grand Cypress Dr., STE. 500, Lutz! Please call ahead of your arrival at 727-844-7764.

The previous office at 6009 Wesley Grove Blvd., Wesley Chapel is now closed. PSO is providing a list of all office locations. We continue to serve you at these locations and through our website, PascoSheriff.com, for general business. If you need to report a crime, dial 911 for emergencies or 727-847-8102, option 7 for non-emergencies.

A Community Engagement deputy and Animal-Assisted Therapy K9 Penelope recently visited a school to meet students and staff. Everyone enjoyed meeting our AAT K9 and asking the deputy questions. Interacting with citizens, especially Pasco’s youth, increases public safety, as it establishes trust between the community and law enforcement. Positive connections like these also open lines of communication to identify community needs and share crime prevention information, reducing crime in Pasco County.
