Seeking Information in a Death Investigation

Pasco Sheriff’s Office detectives continue to seek answers in a death investigation from March 2022.  On March 24, 2022, around 1:30 p.m., Pasco Sheriff’s detectives were alerted to a body found in the Lacoochee Claysink Rd. & SR 575 area of Lacoochee. The deceased was identified as Teneisha Griffith, 27, of Tampa. The victim’s family has waived their Marsy’s law protections and has given PSO permission to release the decedent’s information in the hopes of finding additional information in this case. Griffith is pictured here. She was last heard from on the evening of March 19, 2022 and was originally reported missing from the Tampa Police Department’s jurisdiction. If you have information on where Griffith was or who she was with between the evening of March 19, 2022 and the afternoon of March 24, 2022, or have any additional information on this case, please contact PSO or Crime Stoppers.

Deputies have located Teneisha Griffith’s car in Hillsborough County. Pasco Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate this case.

Pasco Sheriff’s detectives were alerted to a body found on March 24, 2022, around 1:30 p.m., in the Lacoochee Claysink Rd. & SR 575 area of Lacoochee. The family of the deceased individual has given PSO permission to identify her as Teneisha Griffith, 27, of Tampa. Griffith is pictured here. She was originally reported missing from the Tampa Police Department’s jurisdiction. PSO’s investigation into the circumstances of Griffith’s death is ongoing. 

PSO is currently seeking additional information in this case. Griffith was last heard from on the evening of March 19, 2022, and Griffith’s car, a white 2008 Nissan Altima (pictured here) with Florida tag QSBE04, has not been found. If you have any information on where Griffith was, who she was with between the evening of March 19, 2022 and the afternoon of March 24, 2022, have seen her car, or have any additional information on this case, please contact PSO or Crime Stoppers at the outlets below.
