Pasco Sheriff’s Office investigated a rumor of potential violence against Wiregrass Ranch High School today. After a thorough investigation, the rumor was determined to have stemmed from an inappropriate joke a student made, and there is no threat to the school. PSO reminds students, parents and guardians alike that all threats are taken seriously, even those made as a joke. PSO urges parents and guardians to speak with students about the consequences of making such threats.
