School Alert: Paul R. Smith Middle School
Paul R. Smith Middle School was temporarily on controlled campus status today out of an abundance of caution as PSO deputies investigated a rumored school threat. PSO deputies determined the threat to be unfounded.
Another student pulled the school’s fire alarm during the investigation but was quickly identified. This incident was not connected to the potential school threat from earlier. There is no threat at the school. Paul R. Smith Middle School has resumed normal operations.
