School Alert: Pasco County

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office continues to receive a growing number of school-related threats. We take every threat seriously and thoroughly investigate all information to ensure a safe environment for students, staff and our community. We’re thankful for the information our community members have shared with law enforcement, and we strongly encourage our citizens to “Say Something if they See Something.”

Please continue reporting concerns about school threats to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office via Fortify Florida at https://GetFortifyFL.com/ or via 911 or 727-847-8102, opt. 7.  If you use the Fortify Florida tip line, please leave your name and contact information so we can follow up. All details, no matter how small, can help law enforcement investigate the tip thoroughly. Additionally, please refrain from re-sharing school threats online with others. Rumors contribute to the chaos and fear, dramatically impacting our educational institutions and hindering law enforcement from investigating threats effectively and efficiently.

Remember, if you “See Something, Say Something” to law enforcement. Please do not share threats with others and contribute to the issue.
