School Alert: Gulf Highlands Elementary School

Gulf Highlands Elementary School was temporarily on controlled campus status while deputies investigated a student’s claims about bringing a firearm to school. The individual was located, and no weapon was found. This was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the school. Gulf Highlands Elementary School has resumed normal operations.
