School Alert: Gulf Highlands Elementary School

Update: Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies thoroughly searched near the campus and did not find a suspicious individual. There is no immediate threat to the school and Gulf Highlands Elementary has resumed normal operations.

Gulf Highlands Elementary School is currently on controlled campus status while Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies investigate a report of a suspicious person near the school. Increased law enforcement presence is on campus out of an abundance of caution. The investigation is ongoing and an update will be provided when available.
