K9 Honor and HIT Intercept Dangerous Narcotics
Pasco Sheriff’s Office Highway Interdiction Team, which is comprised of specially trained deputies and narcotics detection K9s, interrupts the flow of narcotics and human trafficking on Pasco County roadways.
On Wednesday, September 4, in the area of US19 and SR52, members of the Pasco Sheriff’s Office Highway Interdiction Team, including K9 Honor, conducted a traffic stop on a traffic violator and discovered several items of drug paraphernalia to include a digital scale and syringes, along with 53 grams of methamphetamine. The individual was arrested for trafficking in methamphetamine.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office has zero tolerance for narcotic activity and those who would do harm to our community.
