Community Alert: Submerged Vehicle, Dade City

A member of the Pasco Sheriff’s Office and a member of the Dade City Police Department were in the area of Dixie Avenue conducting flooding reconnaissance when the vehicle they were in overturned and was submerged in water. The member of the Dade City Police Department was able to safely remove themselves from the vehicle while the member of the Pasco Sheriff’s Office became trapped. The member of the Pasco Sheriff’s Office was freed by the member of the Dade City Police Department and local citizens and was transported to a local hospital. No further information is available at this time.
