Community Alert: Shooting Of A Person, Wesley Chapel

Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a shooting of a person that occurred in the Low Country Pl. area of Wesley Chapel around 6:15 p.m. Preliminary information indicates that an argument between two adult men, who are known to each other, escalated, and the men exchanged gunfire. One of the adult men was shot and transported for medical attention. The suspect left in a car before law enforcement’s arrival. PSO deputies continue to look for the suspect. This appears to be an isolated incident amongst known parties. The investigation is ongoing. An update will be provided when available.
