Community Alert: Shooting Of A Person, New Port Richey
Pasco Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting of a person that occurred around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Ogalala St. and Tipton Ave. in New Port Richey, resulting in the death of one person. Preliminary information indicates an interaction between two adult men, who are known to each other, led to one shooting the other. The suspect fled before deputies arrived. We continue to look for the suspect. The victim was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert, but was later pronounced deceased. This appears to be an isolated incident amongst known parties. The investigation is ongoing. No additional information is available at this time.
