Community Alert: Shooting, Crystal Springs

Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a shooting of a person that occurred in the County Line Rd. and Central Ave. area of Crystal Springs around 5 p.m. Preliminary information indicates that one adult man shot another adult man over a potentially stolen vehicle. The adult man who was shot was transported for medical attention with non-life-threatening injuries, and the shooter is cooperating with law enforcement. The subjects are not known to each other. This is an isolated incident, and there is no public safety threat. No additional information is available at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
