Community Alert: Fleeing to Elude, Wesley Chapel

Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies have detained a suspect for fleeing to elude, as well as other charges in the area of Cypress Ridge Blvd. and Willow Oak Dr. in Wesley Chapel. Deputies tried to pull over the suspect, who was wanted for aggravated stalking and battery by strangulation. The suspect initially stopped; but then drove away when deputies approached, leading to a chase. After a short pursuit, the suspect left their car on foot but was later found and arrested by deputies. This is an isolated incident, and there is no public safety threat. The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information is available.
