Community Alert: Disturbance, Port Richey
Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance involving a possible weapon in the Yew Tree Ave. area of Port Richey around 7 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies located the subject with a firearm and attempted to make contact. Deputies fired less-lethal rounds at the subject following multiple de-escalation attempts. The subject was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This is an isolated incident, and there is no public safety threat. The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time.
