Community Alert: Barricaded Subject, New Port Richey

Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted a warrant service in the Cayuga Dr. area of New Port Richey around 6:15 a.m. An adult man was being served a warrant by US Marshalls with assistance from Pasco Sheriff’s Office. Subject barricaded himself in the residence. Upon entry, subject was found deceased with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no known public safety threat. There is no additional information at this time.
