Community Alert: Aggravated Fleeing, New Port Richey

Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies were attempting to serve a warrant for aggravated kidnapping when the subject fled in a vehicle. Aviation units tracked the subject’s movement and, shortly after, the subject crashed into other vehicles in the area of Moon Lake and Ridge Rd. where the subject was detained. The subject and his passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. FHP is investigating the crash. This is an isolated incident, and there is no public safety threat. The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time.
