Express Badge Application for Attorneys
The Court Complex Express Entry Program has been established to provide attorneys practicing in the 6th Judicial Circuit with express access to the Judicial Centers in Pasco County, while continuing to maintain appropriate security procedures. The PCID cardholder must display the card at all times when entering or exiting a Pasco County Judicial Center/Courthouse.

Part C. Court Complex Express Entry Program
Any member of the Florida Bar, in good standing, and who has their principal office in the Sixth Judicial Circuit, and wishes to participate in the Pasco Sheriff's Office "Court Complex Express Entry Program" will, on an annual basis:
- Apply to the Pasco Sheriff's Office Human resources Section for a picture identification card that will allow express access to Pasco Court complexes.
- Complete and submit a "Private Counsel Identification (PCID) Card Request Form along with a copy of their Florida Bar credentials, Social Security Card, and driver’s license.
- Submit to a complete background check conducted by Pasco Sheriff's Office. (Identification cards are issued at the discretion of the Sheriff, and may be cancelled or revoked at any time.)
- Submit to being fingerprinted and photographed.
- Pay an annual $30.00 processing fee.
- Agree that no weapon of any kind is permitted in the Court Complexes.
- Agree that Express Entry into the Court Complexes is a privilege, and is non-transferable to any other person.
- Contact the Human Resources Section to schedule an appointment to obtain their identification card.
Part D. Express Entry Procedures
- Upon entering the main entrance to the Court Complex, counsel will display their Pasco Sheriff's Office PCID Card.
- At the attending bailiff's discretion, counsel will either be directed to the front of the line or directed around the magnetometer so that they can be scanned by hand. In either case, counsel will be directed to empty their pockets and person of all metal objects that may be detected by scanning equipment.
- Any counsel that refuses to comply with any security measure, including walking through magnetometer, hand-held scans, or personal searches or pay-downs, will be denied access to Court Complexes beyond security checkpoints, and may have their Express Entry privileges subsequently revoked.
