Inmate Money Deposits

 

Inmate Money: The Cashier's Office is the location where all inmate funds are inventoried, verified and deposited into the inmate's account for safekeeping and purchasing of canteen items and services. We will accept cash, money orders, government, law enforcement, and cashiers checks at the Land O'Lakes facility only. Personal, business or payroll checks will not be accepted. (Cash will not be accepted through the mail). Funds for the inmate may be deposited at the Cashier's Office, with the exception of the following times when the office is closed: 5:30 am - 6:15 am and 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm. These times are subject to change.

 

Inmate Telephone Calls

 

Inmate Calling Solutions (ICS) is a recognized leader in the highly competitive correctional telecommunications industry.  ICS’s core responsibilities are to ensure inmates are provided reasonable access to talk with their friends or family members while incarcerated within the Detention Facility.  All inmate phone calls are made collect with the exception of those that have set up prepaid accounts through ICS. The following are the means in which inmates can make telephone calls from within the facility:

Visitation Rules and Regulations

 

All juvenile visitors must be accompanied by an adult, parent or legal guardian and visitors aged 3-18 years of age must be on the visitation list.  Juvenile visitors 0 - 14 years of age must provide an original state birth certificate with seal; 15-18 must show valid passport, current military dependent's ID, state ID, or driver's license.  ONE ADULT ONE CHILD. (HANDHELD INFANT WILL NOT COUNT AS A SINGLE VISITOR.) Visitors must sign in 1/2 hour prior to the start of their scheduled visitation.

 

Visitors must conduct themselves in an orderly manner.  Persons who are unruly, use obscene language, or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave and the visit will be terminated. 

 

All visitors are subject to search.  Introduction of contraband into a Correctional Facility is a felony of the third degree (F.S. 951.22). 

 

There will be no smoking or gum chewing in the visitation booth. Any violation of this rule will result in the loss of visitation. If the violation is committed by a visitor, the visitor will be denied future visits.

 

Visitors will be responsible for their children. If children become disruptive, the visitor will be asked to leave. Minor children will not be left in the lobby without adult supervision.

 

Inmates are not allowed to receive property at visitation, nor can it be received via the mail. Inmates may purchase items from the commissary.

 

The shift supervisor will approve all special visitations and set the date and time of the visit. ONLY ONE SPECIAL VISIT WILL BE GRANTED AND ONLY UNDER EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES.    

 

Visitation is limited to one time per week for two continuous hours.  Up to (3) visitors can attend that visit.

 

If a visitor must leave the visitng area for ANY REASON, he/she will not be re-admitted until the next visiting week.

 

Visitation is by appointment only. Appointments can be made by one of the following ways:

 

Call-In (Phone): (First visit must be scheduled by phone): Call 1-6 days in advance of the requested visiting day, excluding weekends and holidays.

Written Request (Visitation Request Form): Complete a Visitation Request Form located at the Detention Central Front Desk, or the Detention West Control Room. These written visitation request forms can only be used to schedule appointments 4-7 days in advance due to the entry time needed to process them. A phone number needs to be provided on each form so we can contact you in the event of a scheduling conflict.

 

Internet: Go to www.pascosheriff.com. Find "In Custody". Find the inmate's name and then select "Schedule Visitation". Complete the visitation information form. Submit your request. After successful submission, a confirmation email will be sent when visit is scheduled. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your request HAS NOT BEEN MADE.

 

Visitor Dress: THE FOLLOWING CLOTHING (FOR MALES & FEMALES) IS NOT PERMITTED IN THIS FACILITY: No layered clothing allowed. Transparent clothing, tank tops; leggings, tights; spandex clothing; coats; concealing jackets, zippered or button-up sweaters or sweat shirts; hooded apparel. Skirts, shorts, skorts at knee length or longer are permitted. Clothing must be conservative and NOT revealing. Sleeves are required on all upper apparel. Final authority rests with the Shift Commander/Designee in what is determined appropriate attire.

 

Passes issued to visitors will not be removed for any reason. If pass is damaged, your visitation privileges may be revoked.

 

Inmates are permitted to designate fifteen (15) visitors whose names will be recorded on the Inmate Visitation List to visit. At no time will an inmate be allowed more than three (3) visitors at one time.
