CIVL ACCOUNTANT II $21.43 - $22.52/hour A professional civilian position where the incumbent handles the financial transaction of the Inmate Welfare Fund, as well as the reconciliation of Inmate Cash Accounts. The candidate will be required to identify, evaluate, and document procedures and audit controls for the various cashier functions, as well as provide reports for management use. This position will report to the Director of Fiscal Affairs, but maintain an office within the secure portion of the jail. CIVL CPI SUPERVISOR $20.71 to$21.76 JOB SUMMARY This is an advanced professional position supervising and directing the work of child protective investigators and support staff. The incumbent will be responsible for communicating with, motivating, training and evaluating employees, planning and directing their work; supervising and monitoring their work with families, co-workers, service providers, and community partners. CIVL DESK OFFICER CIVILIAN $14.82 - $15.59 JOB SUMMARY This is a highly visible and responsible civilian position responsible for handling calls for service, handling walk-in complaints, initiating minor investigations, and receiving and distributing selected court related processes. CIVL CIVILIAN SUPPORT,DETENTION $10.47 - $12.17/Hourly Various clerical positions such as: Control Room Operator, Classification Clerk, Cashier/Property Clerk, Booking Clerk, Warrants Clerk and Criminal Records Clerk. All positions are located in the Land O' Lakes Detention facility. Job duties vary, but include: 1) constant vigilance of activities inside & outside the Detention facility by use of closed circuit TV & observation; 2)classifying & assessing each inmate entering the facility to determine the level of custody required, housing assignments & participation in programs; 3)control, storage & retrieval procedures of inmates money & property housed in the facility; 4)processing inmates entering the booking facility; 5)processing, entering & tracking warrants and making notification for transport of those individuals arrested in other jurisdictions; 6)receiving, scanning, filing & storing Sheriff's Office reports & documents, fulfilling requests for copies of reports & other public records.
